A Stunning & Stylish Beach Villa
Villa Nonnavana is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
This glamorous, two-storey designer villa rests on two sides of a 7 x 4 metre swimming pool in a large tropical garden. The interiors showcase a striking blend of elements, patterns and textures. You’ll appreciate the warm tones of the teakwood, recycled timbers, rustic rattan, and mixed & matched wooden bricks, contrasted by the clean, modern lines of the architecture.
The spacious open-plan living & dining area incorporates a beautiful kitchen fully equipped with everything you need under an exposed beam ceiling. Handcrafted floor tiles bring a splash of colour to the dining space, which is furnished with a table for 10. The living area is distinguished by a smooth wall of Jogja stone where the pieces fit flawlessly together like a jigsaw, extending up to a soaring vaulted roof to form an atrium. Here, a tall, living yucca tree has been permanently planted on a limestone structure. An L-shaped sofa, chairs, international channel TV with speakers, and a fabulous light installation crafted from rattan completes this stylish space.
There are four bedrooms in total, two are situated downstairs, while the master bedroom and the kids’ room cover the whole of the upper floor, which is ideal for a family. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are different, yet pulled together by the running theme of funky features and mixed materials. All bathrooms are equipped with rainshowers, one has a marble washbowl on a tree trunk stand, and two are fitted with bathtubs.
The upstairs master has a modernist Japanese feel to it, with a king bed, a mix of honey-coloured teakwood, industrial-style grey polished concrete walls, and glass and iron window panels. The bedroom opens to a broad balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Furnished with a king bed and a single bunkbed, the kid’s bedroom is playful and fun but also distinctive due to its recycled multi-tonal wooden floor, which creates a patchwork of colour and texture. The kids’ ensuite bathroom is fitted with two showers. The two downstairs bedrooms are furnished with king beds and one opens directly to the pool deck. The flat-lawned garden with its comfortable gazebo, inviting swimming pool and alfresco barbecue area, is a delightful space for enjoying the outdoors.
